ago, and when my friend Kayta came over to play, he looked at my
lyrics and played along while I was singing the part. He continued
to play and I continued to write and before you knew it, we had
finished the song. If I remember correctly, we finished the song in
about an hour or less. It was a pretty magical moment, because the
words just fell into place with Kayta’s guitar structure. I tried my
best to write as fast as the words were coming out, thank god for
shorthand. This song is another fun one, because it’s a “stand up
and take charge” kind of song, showing inner strength, confidence,
and having faith and trust in yourself.
